Martin School of Dance is nothing short of amazing! The studio is updated, bright, clean and inviting but more importantly Ms. Tiffany and all of the MSD instructors are simply the best! Not only are they all talented and educated dancers and teachers, they are energetic, gentle, encouraging, disciplined, organized, kind and fun! Our daughter, Maeve, started with a Tap class at MSD last fall when she was 7 years old. She has always been nervous to try new activities but Ms. Tiffany and her staff helped her step out of her comfort zone, build her self confidence and she is now dancing 5 days per week and loving all styles of dance! This past year, Maeve has learned more than just how to dance - MSD has taught her about self care, respect, and the importance of being a well-rounded, healthy, confident person and dancer. We love our MSD family and could not have dreamt of a better experience! 

We are extremely happy and grateful for the enthusiasm and positive teaching style of Miss Tiffany and her staff. They are so welcoming, making Violet—who is very shy—feel comfortable and valued as she learns ballet. Violet loves “ballet days” and comes home dancing from class. Martin School of Dance has instilled and cultivated a love of dancing in her and inspires her to try new things. Violet loves how Miss Tiffany makes dancing fun and she especially loves when they get to freeze dance. We couldn’t be happier with Martin School of Dance. 

To be perfectly honest we chose MSD before they had even opened their doors or offered a class - we were in the middle of a pandemic and we saw this small business opening and I thought “wow - that business owner must have some real passion (and drive) to open a business right now, and that is the example I want my daughter to see”. And my daughter still sees that same passion every time she walks in those doors not only from Tiffany but all the teachers. And from a more practical standpoint I appreciate that the class times are realistic for parents. I never have to choose between being a good parent and getting her to class on time and my work commitments. 

Finding MSD last year, was a blessing. In one of the biggest decisions of her young life, Aubrey followed her heart and decided to change studios. MSD has allowed her to focus more on ballet, while still studying other dance forms. She has gained the technique she was craving and has regained her passion for dance. Miss Tiffany has not only made this transition for our family seemless, but they have encouraged Aubrey to keep following her passion and dreams (while also getting the added bonus of making amazing new friends). We are so happy to be part of the MSD family.

 My daughter began taking ballet classes with Tiffany when she was 12 years old. Tiffany brought focused technique to the studio’s program and encouraged the dancers to work hard and set higher standards for themselves. Over the 6 years that Tiffany taught my daughter, I saw tremendous growth not only technically In class but artistically through her group and solo performances that Tiffany choreographed. 

      My daughter says that “Tiffany inspired me and fueled the passion I had for ballet and pointe.  She had a good eye and saw my potential and my classmates potential too. She encouraged us and kept us going. She never gave up on us.  She has a lot of faith in her dancers which has motivated me to further my dance education through  college.” “Tiffany helped us get to the ‘ah-ha’ moments.” “She was hugely focused on building your foundation and strong technique which is what every dancer needs.”

      I know Tiffany made a significant  difference in my daughter’s dancing and I am thankful to her for everything she has done including all the help with college video auditions!  

My daughter started dancing at a very young age and always enjoyed it.  When she started taking classes with Tiffany, her whole world changed.  Tiffany taught her more than just technique and choreography.  She taught her about the importance of building a strong, healthy body, about confidence, about commitment, and about the joy and love of dance.  Tiffany is extremely professional, yet so creative, fun, and personable.  Her choreography is breathtakingly beautiful, be it classic ballet or contemporary.  Her artistry and passion for dance is evident in everything she does.  She has been a wonderful teacher, mentor, role model, and human being to my daughter and to my family.  We are so thankful for her and all she has taught my daughter over the years.

I took classes with Miss Tiffany for 7 years, and she is absolutely the full package -- when a student takes a class with her, you aren't just learning the art of dance, but rather health, anatomy, and lifestyle, as well. She is as fantastic an instructor as she is a dancer herself, so you are bound to learn high quality dance by a high quality means. She is able to effectively evaluate a dancer's needs based on their life in and out of the studio, which I, a busy student, found particularly delightful. I owe my ballet technique practically in its entirety to her, as well as countless pep talks, life advice, and hugs. Oh, and did I mention that she bakes you cookies?

Tiffany gives her students challenging ballet curriculum while also fostering a nurturing environment. When my daughter started out in dance she thought she wouldn't like ballet, but with Tiffany as her teacher, it became her favorite genre. Tiffany worked with my daughter to develop her strengths while helping her overcome weaknesses. She is now learning ballet en pointe and plans to continue studying ballet while in college. I highly recommend Tiffany for dancers of all levels who want to learn ballet, as well as for more serious ballet students looking to grow.

Ms. Tiffany has not only given me a strong foundation in dance, but she taught me mental endurance, something I carry with me both in and out of the dance studio.  She enables students to reach their full potential, all the while making it fun. She always has the best interests of her students in mind, and forms a connection with each and every one of them. Her classroom creates an encouraging and healthy environment where students put life aside and fall in love with the strength and discipline dance provides. She believes in me when I don’t believe in myself, one of the best things a teacher can do. I’ve had the pleasure of having Ms. Tiffany as a fantastic teacher, and an even better mentor.

I can't say enough about how wonderful Miss Tiffany is and what she has done for my daughter! She takes teaching dance very seriously, but at the same time is so supportive and works with each student at their level. She is very caring and willing to help students with their personal struggles as well.
